Η Χαραυγή της Λευτεριάς

I would like to write about the film I made with my school. The film "Η Χαραυγή της Λευτεριάς" is about the Ιndependence of Kalamata ιν 1821, March 23. It is an reat historical event that defined the history of Greece. Watch it!!!

In this film the Second and the Fifth Primary School of Kalamata worked together.

The World

One Day on the Beach

        When I was 10, one day I left alone for the  beach. While I was walking  I saw  my friend  Tony .We went to the beach, we chose a  nice place under a tree  ,and we  laid  there our things .
        We were swimming when we saw a large Carreta-Carreta sea turtle .We noticed that it was eating something  something.We took a photo with  my water resistant camera.It was impressive .Unfortunately, suddenly it disappeared.We were  very sad. When we came back we saw a little  a cute puppy. We bought  some milk and we gave it to drink .We were walking  while it was running behind us.
         It was one of my favourite days in my life.

The Hurriance

        The hurricane is a natural phenomenon. Usually hurricanes happen in America.
It can destroy a whole town and a lot of things like it. It can break down a tree, a house, a car and can it kill animals. It is very dangerous. If a hurricane approaches the city we must go. It sometimes happens even in Greece. We must find ways to protect ourselves from hurricane.

The Akropolis

            The Parthenon is the eyes of the past . It is one massive  building in the center of Athens. It is on top of a rock. People visit it because it is two and a half thousand years old.
            Near the Parthenon is the museum of the Akropolis. It has got thousands of statues.Under the museum there is the city of Athens. There are glass floors in the museum and you can see a lot of things underground. On the fifth floor there is glass all around and you get scared. In the first  floor there is a small cinema where you can get informed about the history of the Parthenon.
It's really great. I think we must all visit it.

Zakynthos

     The island of Zakynthos is one of the most famous in our country. It is in the west parts of Greece.
You can see a lot of  interesting places, the most famous of which is the beach Navagio that means   Shipwreck.You can also see the caretta-caretta sea turtle.
There are great hotels too.They have special  pools for children. There is also an island which you can visit by boat, Marathonisi. It is a very nice day trip. There is also a spectacular sea park. It is the best  place for holidays for children.
       I recommend a holiday in Zakynthos because it is wonderful place.

Μια μέρα στην θάλασσα

Ξύπνησα  πολύ  νωρίς. Σκεφτόμουν τι να κάνω.
-Μπορώ  να πάω στο πάρκο για να παίξω μπάλα;
-Όχι, Στέφανε κάνει πολλή ζέστη, απάντησε η μαμά.
-Ξέρω,θα πάμε οικογενειακώς για μπάνιο.
-Καλή ιδέα, Στέφανε, ας πάμε!
Ετοιμάστηκα γρήγορα και μπήκα στο αυτοκίνητο. Όταν φτάσαμε, απευθείας μπήκα στην θάλασσα.Το νερό ήταν πολύ ζεστό.Στην θάλασσα ήμουν 7 ώρες.Έπαιξα άλλες 4 ώρες.΄Οταν πήγαμε σπίτι έπεσα για ύπνο από την κούραση.          

 

In Serbia

                                 
 I am half  Greek  and half Serbian. I go every  year  to Serbia with my mother. In the city where I go lives my grandmother, my sister and my uncle. The city's name is Kragujevac. It has got about 300.000 citizens.That city was the old capital city, now it is the fifth biggest city in Serbia. The life is very good there. It is a very lovely city.

You must visit this city!!!

HELP THE ENVIRONMENT !!!

Hi Kostantinos,
How are you? Thanks for your last e-mail.Your new house is wonderful, but you have not got any recycling bins.

If you recycled, you would save the environment. We could help the environment, if we saved energy. If I were you I would recycle paper, glass, cans and clothes . If you recycled  all your rubbish, your  neigbourhood would be clean .

Carnival Time in Kalamata !!!

Hi John!
How are you? I ‘m writing because we will have a carnival. I will wear a pirate costume. My friend David will wear a zebra costume, Kostas will wear a superman costume, Ioanna  will wear a Barbie costume, Fotis will wear a zombie costume .
Now we must buy new costumes, drinks, music cassettes and food.
At our school we are painting the walls. The colour will be green. Why don’t you come to my house this weekend so that I can show you my new costume? You can have lunch with us .
